Adam Daniel writes literate pop—novels that sing, songs that tell stories.

Adam first came to public attention in 1999 recording and performing as a rock/pop singer-songwriter. All Music Guide named his debut album Blue Pop “…among the best guitar-pop albums of the ‘90’s…” Championed by fans worldwide, the CD spent eight weeks in the CMJ (college radio) Top 100, garnered regular airplay on XM Satellite Radio and was featured in primetime television programs and movies: Felicity, Jack and Jill, Jenifer (starring Laura San Giacomo) and The Matthew Shepard Story. In May 2000 Adam was invited to Miles Copeland’s annual Castle songwriting retreat in France where he co-wrote a ballad called "Christmas Morning" with country music mainstays John Berry and Kim Richey, recorded by Berry and released on the compilation A Country Superstar Christmas, Vol. 4 alongside tracks by Travis Tritt, Toby Keith and Dolly Parton.

In 2003 Adam went on hiatus from the music business to pursue academic interests. Having graduated University of California, Los Angeles in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Study of Religion, Adam now challenged himself to read ten nonfiction books each month for the next two years, educating himself in a wider variety of topics than any formal graduate program would allow, unknowingly researching his debut novel—REDEMPTION VALUE. The story of a romance between a Kabbalist and quantum physicist, the novel explores poetic interconnections between spirituality and science.

In 2006 Adam resurfaced musically, reissuing Blue Pop and also releasing two collections of new recordings: 4-track demos: The Adam Daniel Frequency and 4-track demos: Where You Are EP. All three of Adam Daniel’s albums are available exclusively for digital download at major online retailers: iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Napster, etc.

In 2008 Adam enrolled in Antioch University Los Angeles' Master of Arts program in Education, Leadership and Change. Studying to design/teach a custom curriculum in spirituality and science, Adam is also currently revising and polishing REDEMPTION VALUE and writing songs for his upcoming fourth album—more literate pop for his ever-widening audience.
